EXINDA Breeze 54-100 CFM Energy Recovery Ventilator
WALL-MOUNTED RESIDENTIAL ENERGY RECOVERY VENTILATION
EXINDA Breeze IWMBCOOF1AYE is a vertical wall-mounted residential ERV that keeps the floor clear and needs no ceiling cavity, with four 4 in. ducts leaving the top of the cabinet. It has three standard settings of 54, 70 and 100 CFM with automatic balancing, holds the selected airflow as duct resistance rises, and can be interlocked with a furnace or air handler through 24 V thermostat terminals.
Is this the right wall-mounted ERV for your project?
- Floor area or ceiling depth is the constraint, and wall space is available.
- The wall can carry the 44 lb cabinet plus duct loads.
- Required continuous ventilation is within the certified 102 CFM envelope.
- There is bend radius above the cabinet for four 4 in. ducts.
Before confirming the model, verify wall structure, top clearance for duct bends, net airflow at design static pressure and front service access.

Airflow and Energy Recovery Performance
Fan curve values show how the high airflow point responds to external static pressure. Energy recovery performance is reported at separate test conditions, each with its own inlet temperature, airflow and power.
| Performance | Net airflow | Power | Recovery metric |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.1 in. w.g. fan curve | 98 CFM | 69 W | — |
| 0.4 in. w.g. fan curve | 102 CFM | 95 W | — |
| 0.8 in. w.g. fan curve | 104 CFM | 125 W | — |
| 32 °F inlet supply | 66 CFM | 36 W | 72% SRE / 76% adjusted SRE |
| 32 °F inlet supply | 102 CFM | 74 W | 67% SRE / 72% adjusted SRE |
| 95 °F inlet supply | 57 CFM | 33 W | 57% total / 59% adjusted total recovery |

Breeze ERV Selection Questions
When is a wall-mounted ERV the better choice?
The cabinet stands vertically and occupies 16-5/8 by 16-9/16 in. of wall, so it keeps the mechanical room floor clear and needs no ceiling cavity at all. Choose it when floor area or ceiling depth is the constraint and there is a structural wall able to carry 44 lb plus duct loads.
Is the 100 CFM setting available at design static pressure?
Yes, with margin. The high setting is 100 CFM and the fan curve reports 98 CFM net supply at 0.1 in. w.g., 102 CFM at 0.4 and 104 CFM at 0.8. The ECM motor holds the selected airflow as duct resistance rises, so schedule against the calculated external static pressure rather than a nominal figure.
Can it run with a furnace or air handler rather than as a standalone unit?
Yes. The controller wires to 24 V thermostat terminals (C / G / R / W / Y) and to a furnace 24 V terminal block, so ventilation can follow the HVAC system rather than run on its own schedule. A bathroom timer with 20 / 40 / 60 minute high-speed cycles and an electronic dehumidistat are supported as optional inputs.
What has to be left clear around the unit?
Four 4 in. ducts leave the top of the cabinet, so allow bend radius above it, and keep the front clear for filter and core service and for controller wiring. Confirm the dimension drawing and local electrical clearances before coordination.
