EXINDA Aura 12,000 Btu/h All-in-One Heat Pump ERV (HPERV)
EXINDA AURA is a 12,000 Btu/h ceiling-ducted all-in-one heat pump ERV developed for apartments, multifamily buildings, studio suites and other space-limited residential projects. It combines heating, cooling, balanced fresh-air ventilation and energy recovery in one indoor unit without a conventional separate outdoor condenser for each apartment.
AURA is intended for project applications where façade restrictions, limited outdoor-unit locations, ceiling concealment and coordinated ventilation are important. Final suitability depends on the building load, outdoor-air design, available ceiling space, duct routing, electrical supply and the technical data for the selected configuration.

How the All-in-One Heat Pump ERV Works
The AURA HPERV coordinates functions that are often provided by separate apartment systems. The ceiling-concealed unit conditions recirculated indoor air while supplying outdoor air and exhausting stale air through designed duct connections. Energy recovery reduces the ventilation load by transferring energy between the exhaust-air and outdoor-air streams.
“No outdoor unit” means that AURA does not require a conventional separate outdoor condensing unit beside each apartment. The system still requires properly designed outdoor-air intake and exhaust connections, external louvers, condensate drainage and suitable separation between intake and discharge openings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does EXINDA AURA require an outdoor condensing unit?
No conventional separate outdoor condenser is required for each apartment. AURA is installed indoors, but it still requires engineered outdoor intake and exhaust ducts, external louvers and condensate drainage.
Does AURA provide both heating and cooling?
Yes. The listed configuration provides 12,000 Btu/h cooling and 14,000 Btu/h heating together with fresh-air ventilation and energy recovery. Final capacity must be checked against the applicable performance data and project design conditions.
Can AURA serve more than one room?
AURA uses a ducted air-distribution system and can be evaluated for multi-room apartments. The duct design, room loads, airflow distribution and available external static pressure must be reviewed for each project.
Is AURA suitable for high-rise apartment projects?
AURA is designed for apartment and multifamily applications where ceiling-concealed equipment and the absence of a conventional apartment-level outdoor condenser are useful. Project suitability still depends on load, ventilation, duct, façade, sound, drainage and service-access requirements.
What information is needed for AURA selection?
Provide the project location, floor plan, room loads, outdoor-air requirement, duct external static pressure, ceiling space, electrical supply, design temperatures and project quantity. Certification and documentation requirements should also be identified at the beginning of the review.
