EXINDA 3-5kW R290 MINI SWIMMING POOL HEAT PUMP
The EXINDA 3–5kW R290 mini pool heat pump provides heating for small above-ground, steel-frame and inflatable pools. Available in 3kW, 4kW and 5kW versions, this heat-only series uses a titanium heat exchanger and a rotary compressor, with a 220–240V, single-phase, 50Hz power supply for compatible European installations. It is intended for seasonal pool heating within an ambient operating range of 10–40°C.
Heating Performance at Two Test Conditions
The rated capacity depends on air temperature, water temperature and humidity. The values below use the Celsius test conditions stated in the product data sheet.
| Performance | 3kW version | 4kW version | 5kW version |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heating capacity: air 27°C / water 27°C / 80% RH | 3kW | 4kW | 5kW |
| COP at air 27°C / water 27°C / 80% RH | 6.0 | 6.1 | 6.0 |
| Heating capacity: air 15°C / water 27°C / 70% RH | 2.1kW | 3.0kW | 3.5kW |
| COP at air 15°C / water 27°C / 70% RH | 4.6 | 4.7 | 4.7 |
| Sound pressure at 1m | 46dB(A) | 47dB(A) | 48dB(A) |
| Net weight | 24kg | 25kg | 29kg |
Sound-pressure values are listed at 1m; confirm the operating and measurement conditions when comparing products. A COP at one test point is not a seasonal efficiency rating or a guaranteed reduction in electricity bills.

Choosing a Mini Pool Heater
Select the version using the pool dimensions, surface area, cover use, local ambient conditions, starting and target water temperatures, and acceptable heat-up time. The lower-temperature performance table shows why the 3kW, 4kW and 5kW names should not be treated as constant output in all weather.
This range should not be specified for operation below 10°C or for active cooling. A maximum outlet temperature of 40°C does not guarantee that every pool can reach that temperature under all conditions.
Installation and Documentation
Connect the unit to a compatible pool circulation system and follow the model-specific installation manual for water flow, hose connections, electrical protection, airflow clearance and maintenance access. An RCD plug does not replace the installation requirements. Request the applicable conformity documentation for the destination market before ordering.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Mini pool heat pump cool water?
No. This 3–5kW R290 Mini series is heat-only.
Can it operate in winter?
The stated ambient operating range is 10–40°C. Do not select it for operation below 10°C or assume year-round heating capability.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Wi-Fi is available. Confirm whether it is included in the selected order configuration.
What does the compressor warranty cover?
The product sheet states a 10-year limited compressor warranty. This is not a 10-year whole-unit warranty. Request the written terms, eligibility, exclusions and claim procedure before purchase.
