Can I reuse existing fan coils or radiators?
Existing terminals can be retained when their output and operating water temperatures suit the new system. Fan coils used for cooling also need condensate drainage and insulated water pipework.
Should I choose one larger unit or several smaller modules?
Compare the peak load, typical part-load demand and available equipment space. Multiple modules let the system stage capacity and can support phased installation.
Can I keep the boiler during the upgrade?
Yes. The boiler can remain as supplementary or backup heat while the heat pump serves the planned duty. Coordinate the changeover sequence with the project controls.
