EXINDA 9kW R290 Monoblock Air-to-Water Heat Pump

R290 RESIDENTIAL AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP

The XDASH09C3 is a 9 kW R290 heat pump for a family house that has had its insulation improved but kept its radiators. It sits between the 6 kW and the 12 kW, for homes whose heat loss falls between the two, and runs on the single-phase supply already in place. It heats, cools and prepares domestic hot water, with radiators, underfloor heating or fan coils.

R290 Heat Pump Selection Questions

Should I specify the 9 kW or 12 kW model for a residential project?

Compare both at the same outdoor design temperature and supply-water temperature. Choose the model that covers the building load, then compare minimum output, available electrical capacity and installation requirements; floor area alone cannot settle the choice.

What should an installer check before replacing an existing boiler?

Check room-by-room heat loss, radiator or underfloor output at the planned water temperature, and the existing pipework's ability to carry the required flow. These checks show which parts of the system can be retained and which need alteration.

How can a distributor assess this model before adding it to the range?

Trial it in a typical customer installation. Evaluate commissioning, controller use, local installer training needs and access for servicing, then discuss sample arrangements and support with EXINDA.
