EXINDA 15kW R290 Monoblock Air-to-Water Heat Pump

R290 RESIDENTIAL AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP

The XDASH15D3 is a 15 kW R290 heat pump for large houses and small commercial buildings with a three-phase supply. It is the first three-phase unit in the range and can be cascaded, up to eight on one system. It heats, cools and prepares domestic hot water.

R290 Heat Pump Selection Questions

When should a contractor move from the single-phase range to this model?

When the project has three-phase power and its design load calls for the additional output. Compare the actual winter operating point with the smaller models, then include electrical work and hydraulic changes in the installed-cost comparison.

Can the project retain its existing radiators?

Yes, where the radiators deliver the required room output at the proposed water temperature. Review the rooms with the highest heat loss first; upgrading a few undersized emitters may be more useful than increasing heat-pump capacity alone.

What should a distributor settle before supplying installers?

Agree who handles commissioning questions, fault diagnosis and replacement parts, and what training the installers need. Use the sample installation to identify the support materials required before wider supply.
