EXINDA 30kW R290 Monoblock Air-to-Water Heat Pump
R290 RESIDENTIAL AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP
EXINDA XDASH30D3 is a 30 kW R290 monoblock air-to-water heat pump for European three-phase larger residential and light-commercial hydronic systems. It provides heating, cooling and domestic-hot-water control with nominal 30 kW heating at A7/W35, and publishes heating leaving water up to 70 °C. The published heating table reports 23.16 kW at A−7/W35 and 18.37 kW at A−15/W35, so cold-climate projects must be sized from the actual load and water-temperature requirement.
Is this the right 30 kW heat pump for your project?
- The design load fits published capacity at the winter design point.
- Three-phase power, 5.2 m³/h nominal flow and G1-1/4 in. water connections suit the system.
- The circuit needs leaving water up to 70 °C for radiators or domestic hot water.
- The project can coordinate outdoor space, buffer/DHW storage, cascade strategy and R290 safety clearances.
When it is not the right unit
- Sites without three-phase 380–415 V supply.
- Design heat loss above about 23.16 kW at −7 °C or 18.37 kW at −15 °C without cascade or backup.
- Loads below about 12 kW, where a smaller model in the range modulates more efficiently.
Confirm A/W duty, high-temperature load, electrical protection, hydronic pressure drop, redundancy/cascade design, freeze protection and the applicable certification package.

Heating Performance at Stated Conditions
Nominal heating is 30 kW at A7/W35 to EN 14511. Capacity falls as outdoor temperature drops and as leaving-water temperature rises. The rows below are the maximum modulation row at each condition from the model submittal; they show the ceiling, not the rated point. Use the complete table for design and confirm the duty at your leaving-water temperature.

Questions Before You Specify
Does the 30 kW nameplate mean 30 kW is available at every condition?
No. 30 kW is the nominal heating capacity at A7/W35 to EN 14511. The published table shows capacity changing with outdoor temperature, leaving-water temperature and compressor modulation. Size the system from the project design condition.
How much capacity remains at low ambient temperatures?
At maximum modulation and 35 °C leaving water the submittal publishes 23.164 kW at A−7 and 18.367 kW at A−15. At 55 °C leaving water the same conditions publish 21.022 kW and 16.127 kW. The unit operates down to −25 °C ambient.
What leaving-water temperatures are published?
The submittal publishes 35–70 °C in heating mode and 7–27 °C in cooling mode. The 70 °C heating limit supports radiator circuits and domestic hot water without a supplementary high-temperature source; confirm capacity and COP at the actual target water temperature.
How does XDASH30D3 differ from the 20 kW model?
Nominal heating rises from 20 kW to 30 kW, maximum cooling from 14 kW to 22.5 kW, nominal water flow from 3.4 to 5.2 m³/h, net weight from 120 kg to 180 kg, and MCA/MOP from 20/25 A to 24/30 A. Published heating leaving water rises from 60 °C to 70 °C. Cabinet dimensions and the G1-1/4 in. water connection are the same.
What should I send for a selection, and what do I get back?
Send the project country, design heat loss, outdoor design temperature, target leaving-water temperature and terminal type. Flow and pressure drop, DHW and buffer arrangement, controls and quantity can follow once the unit is shortlisted. You get back a capacity check at your design condition and water temperature, the submittal and dimensional drawing, the certificates and lead time.
